When looking at a map it is immediately clear that it is made up of lines. Lines that indicate

points between A and B; lines that cross each other; lines that create geometrical shapes next

to more lines and lines that indicate the beginning and the end of somewhere, everywhere.

Green indicates nature, blue indicates water, gray indicates roads and structures. And all

these lines on a map are drawn by human hands and generally indicate something of human

significance. But as fascinating as a map may be - full of information and even a source of

inspiration and dreams - it is unable to really describe what is happening among the people

who walk, drive or sail those lines. Lines on a map are important but the human stories that

take place on those lines remain obscured even now, when a little yellow man can be dropped

    on GoogleMaps letting us explore.
